The purpose of National Camping School is to provide adults with a learning experience and training related to the operation of council camp. The key Staff members will, in turn, train and supervise other staff personnel in your Council camping program.
This brochure provides information about the National Camping Schools offered during 2013.
The description of each section offered in the National Camping Schools is included in this brochure. Some sections have required prerequisites. This is especially true of the Aquatics training sections. Without these basics, the participant runs the risk of not being qualified at the school.
We have added a new section called First Year Camper to help councils address the issue of Boy Scout retention by encouraging Scout camps to provide first time campers with the very best first time experience at camp.
